I was reminded recently that thoughts have an energy of their own, that thoughts are things. I don’t know about you but I want that energy to be good, to be God centered and loving. I say that I want that, and I do, but some days it seems to be a nearly impossible task. Have you ever had times like that?

I looked for wisdom in the Bible and found the passage from Phillipians. As an avid reader that passage reminded me of the quote below it and I decided to arm myself with those good thoughts like an armor and to shine God’s light toward one and all. People who were lovely and fun yes, but especially toward those who were not. Imagine having a secret ray gun of God’s love shining out of you that you can share with all around you, it’s pretty cool! A side benefit is that you can feel the change in how you see the person in front of you. It is through a lens of love.
