3rd – 4th Grade Sunday School Class

The 3rd & 4th graders have started on a new journey in their class called Bible Explorers. For the first time this class will spend 4 weeks learning about the Bible, ie: how many books are in the Bible, how many authors wrote the books, how may miracles Jesus performed, how many Psalms Solomon wrote, and the list goes on. This will give them an opportunity to get an overview of the Bible and learn to look up verses on their own, why we have the Bible, and how it is used throughout life. In fact, next fall we will kick off the year with this curriculum and then spend a few minutes each week after getting an overview of each book of the Bible.

Following the Bible Explorers curriculum this year, each student will be presented with a Bible of their very own at the June 1st worship services. Each Bible will be inscribed with their name.

Our first class kicked off with parents joining us to get an overview of the class, what their children would be learning, and to join the fun in being quizzed on their own knowledge of Bible trivia.  Yes, they did quite well.
