From the Property Committee

WOODWORKING:  We are looking for someone with time and talent to construct a couple of bookcases for the parish house.  They would go on either side of the fireplace in the living room. The widths are 44-1/2” and 45”.

POLE BARN CLEAN UP: The pole barn needs to be cleaned out.  There is still stuff that has not seen the light of day since it was put in there about 6 or 7 years ago.

If there is something that your committee or group has stored in there that needs to be kept, please let Rick Mann or the office know. Otherwise the items will be subject to sale at the yard sale or disposal.  Currently found items include exterior Xmas decorations, pieces of a float used in the Howell Parade of Lights, a few boxes of kitchen stuff, speakers and theater seats among other things.


COMMUNITY GARDEN: There didn’t seem to be much interest in the community garden, so we have decided to do a small test garden this year to see how the soil is and see if any interest occurs when it is in place.  If you are interested in participating, talk with Greg Zywicki or Rick Mann.  Plans are to get planting no later than May 1.


STORAGE ROOM: Does your group use the storage room at the back of the sanctuary? Property Committee wants to get the room organized again. This time we will be assigning shelf space those who need storage space.

If your group is currently storing in there, please let Rick Mann or the church office know how much space your group needs.  Our goal is to keep access open to all parts of the shelving, and to the tables and chairs without the need of moving something else in order to get to them.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
