Little Saints Christian Preschool

Green Room – Mrs. Branch

The Green room has been very busy this past month. April has been all about spring, bugs, and the ocean. The kids have made many spring flowers and learned the difference between spiders and insects. We even took a small sip of salt water just to see what the ocean tastes like. (YUCKY) We are enjoying spending more time outside. Have you seen our chalk art work on the front sidewalk.

Purple Room – Mrs. Manross

In the Purple room, we are busy learning about insects and nature and spring and planting!  The children went on a bug hunt and caught all kinds of insects!  We liked making projects that related to insects as well.  We have been practicing our songs for our Mother’s Day tea that will be held the first week of May; it ties in with a Garden theme.  We will finish off this month learning about seeds and planting and how the beauty of nature is a gift from God.  What wonderful things he provides for us all!

Red Room – Mrs. MacLean

The Red Room at Little Saints Preschool is busy preparing for the Mothers Day Tea that the children will be having for their moms in May.  This year the Tea will be a Sock Hop Fifties Theme.  We are learning what it was like to live in the 50s (the food, clothing cars and music).   We will also be having live animals visit our school soon (llamas, rabbits, donkeys, etc.). It has been such a great year and I have really enjoyed working with the children and their families.  It is so hard to believe that we are also preparing for our end of the year Graduation Ceremony that will take place on June 4th. I wish all our children the best of luck as they prepare to enter Kindergarten and hope that I have helped to bridge their path for learning.  I have been blessed to have the opportunity to work with every child.  I wish each child God’s blessing as they travel on their journey in life.

Yellow Room – Mrs. Vamvounis

We have been quite busy in the yellow room.  The students have been celebrating Spring by planting grass and sunflower seeds.  We have discussed insects in class and hunted for insects outside during recess.  In preparation for our Mother's Day Tea, the children have learned to play a song using bells.  If you are in the area, please stop by the yellow room and look at the beautiful giant flowers the students created using coffee filters.   They cover two of our bulletin boards
