Little Saints - Here's What's Happening

May is an incredibly busy month in our school year.  The children are busy preparing for their Mother's Day Teas which will occur daily during the week of May 2nd.  They have been creating wonderful works of art and products filled with love and sentiment.  This will be combined with song and monkey bread made by the children to share with their mommies.  If you get a chance that week, stop by any day to see how we transform a portion of the Narthex into a portable classroom - it is incredible to see!
 
That starts us off on a busy month and then we add a Petting Farm that comes on site and right after Memorial Day we have our annual Pet Parade.  When you combine all these activities along with the increased energy levels that come with (hopefully) warm weather - it is a fun-filled exhilirating month!
 
For the staff, the school families, and the church - the month gets even busier when you add all of the following:
 
-  Mom To Mom Sale that occurs on May 7th.  It isn't too late to get a table if you are interested, please contact Jenny Stromlund at 810-923-4251.
-  New playground installation slated for either April 30th or May 7th.  If you can lend a few volunteer hours please email Theresa Kull at tkull@sbcglobal.net or contact the church office.
-  Relay for Life!  The families of Little Saints are going to be participating along with the church in making this event an even bigger testimony to our dedication to help rid our communities of the hurt and suffering that comes with cancer.  Please join us!
-  Memorial Day parade.  Yes, it is true!  We will be walking/riding in the parade with Pastor Drex, staff, and families and their children.  We will be promoting both the school and upcoming VBS.
 
Finally - it is almost time for Summer Camps.  This year we are offering four different camps that will take place during the weeks of June 13 and 20.  Those camps are JurassiCamp, Splish-Splash Water Camp, Wilderness Bug Safari, and Sports Camp.  Enrollment sheets can be found just outside of the school area and turned in to the church office if you are interested in signing up.  Children aged three through seven may enroll.
