Kids Against Hunger

To our meal kit volunteers -
Thank you so much for volunteering to participate in creating so many meals for Kids Against Hunger.  Please plan to arrive a few minutes prior to the 9:00 (sharp!) start on that day so that we can assemble the 10,728 meals that you were able to assist in raising funds for.

As well, We need 10 of you who are willing to arrive 1 hour before packing is scheduled (that is an 8:00 arrival) to begin and about 8 more volunteers who can arrive about 1/2 hour before trained as table captains (that is an 8:30 arrival). Then, at least 10 to help with take down and clean up after the event- any that can stay will be appreciated! Please email me if you are willing to be either a loader or captain so that I know what holes I have to fill.

As a group we raised $3004.06.  This number includes a $700 matching funds from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and some very generous fundraising by many of you.  Thank you for all you have done to make a difference in the lives of children both locally and around the world.  The money raised translates to the 10,728 that we will assemble on May 8th.  I can't wait to see you there - and bring a friend!  Many hands make light work.  If we have 120 folks packing the work will take approximately one hour!
