We are ending another successful year at Little Saints Christian School.  An enormous amount of credit and praise is due to Theresa Kull who tirelessly nurtured this great ministry into being.  Unfortunately she will be leaving as Director in July.  The LSCS Board is pleased to announce that Denise Clarey will be stepping in as Director to continue the shepherding of this vital and outreaching ministry.

Eight people attended an Estate Planning workshop by fellow disciple Sonja Markwart hosted by the Good News Team.  Watch for another such workshop coming your way in the future.

Eleven people attended the Property clean up day on April 10th.  We managed to clean up some of the brush between the church and the parish house and spread the mulch out on the pathway.  One step closer to the parish house having residents again!

We’re in our 2nd year of Relay for Life.  The official kick off happens on May 1st and the 24 hour event happens on May 21st  starting at 9 a.m. at the Hartland High School track.  It’s a great way to lift up those who are fighting cancer and those who are survivors.  It’s also a great way to reach out to our community, demonstrating a faith presence in our community.  Join in!!

Have you met our local celebrities, Don and Margaret MacDonald?  They were recently in the online news piece, the Hartland Patch.  Their dedication and hearts for cooking here at All Saints was nicely highlighted.  Look for a link on the All Saints’ Facebook page or see a copy of the article near the entrance of the church.

VBS is coming!!  Mark your calendars for July 11th-15th in the 9 am.-12noon time slot.  It’s a new week and we welcome a new leader, Angela Gordon, daughter of our very own Martha Gordon!!  Watch for more details, invite your friends and neighbors, and get ready to have a blast.

TONS of things have been going on with our youth.  They’ve been in plays, traveling abroad, earning High School letters, attending lock-ins…..  See Nancy Laskowski or one of our youth to find out more.  What an awesome demonstration of the gifts and faith that are in our midst.

Did you know that we have 17 youth that will be going to Michi-Lu-Ca camps this summer?  This is the most attending in a long time.  Many are looking for sponsors.  What a great way to nurture the faith of a young person.  See Nancy Laskowski for more details.

In 2010, $2122 in “choice” dollars from Thrivent has come back to All Saints through various avenues.  Thanks for designating All Saints as your choice.
