February Council Minutes

Minutes from the February Council Meeting: February 11, 2010  

Pastor Mary opened the meeting with a devotion and prayer.

Louise Holtz moved to accept the January meeting minutes, Dave Geen seconded.  No discussion, motion passed.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Mim Zurn transferred $5,000 to meet mortgage and payroll and requested that the mortgage payment no longer be an automatic payment to prevent bounced check.  Income for January was $21,000; expenses for January were $24,000.
SOUTH LYON POWER AND LIGHT UPDATE:  A banner is up and you can see it as you drive by!  In March they will start a confirmation class and an adult calls and in the fall they will expand it to a full Sunday School.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:  The search for a Managing a Christian Lifestyle Chair is still on.  There is a Property page on the All Saints website.  If you would like to adopt a project, please look at the website and contact Rick. 
KIDS AGAINST HUNGER:  Temple talks will take place and it was proposed to collect a Noisy Offering monthly for a charitable project.  There were no objections; a noisy offering will be monthly.
