Little Saints - Gearing up for Spring AND Fall!

Spring is such an exciting time of the year for all of us.  With young children this is NOT an exception either!  The emotional and physical energy displayed by children goes up substantially this time of the year as they get more excited for the warmer weather.  It makes everything so fun and energetic for staff and students alike.  Outdoor activities take on an all new level of importance.  Hopefully you have had a chance to see some of the children's artwork on display on our sidewalks.  Soon (mid April), you will see a new play structure in the playground area.  This is an incredible gift to us from this years school families.  Together, with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, we were able to raise over $5,800 to allow us to have this new structure. 
 
In classrooms children have been focusing on "March is Reading" month and learning about Beach and Ocean Life.  As well, we held our first ever artfair.  It was called "Little Hands Doing Big Things".  The children created some amazing pieces of artwork and the families thoroughly enjoyed the event.  
 
In April we will be enjoying an early spring break and then return to gear up for Easter!  Our religion lessons will focus on Holy Week activities.  The children will also be spending time learning about Spring and Bugs (a HUGE favorite with the young!).  As well, our four-year-old classrooms will celebrate their 100th day of school. 
 
Don't forget that on May 7th we will hold our twice yearly Mom To Mom Sale.  It is always a well-attended event and a great way to receive some excellent child bargins.  If you are interested in a table, please contact Jenny Stromlund at stromlund@sbcglobal.net.
 
If you ever have a spare moment or are here during the week for any activity or whatever - stop in!  The staff loves to share what the children are experiencing.  It is a great experience and one guaranteed to put a smile on your face - you can't help but be happy when surrounded by such loving, happy, and smiling children.
 
FALL is coming!  Yes, we have already begun plans for fall.  Soon the school will name a new director to replace Theresa Kull who is leaving in July of this year.  Enrollment is up and running for September.  If you know anyone who may be looking for preschool, please share our school with them!  As well, for enrolled families, we now offer a $300 tuition credit for referring a new family.  Spread the news about this wonderful ministry.
