• Council and other All Saints’ leaders met for a planning weekend last month. It was well attended, filled with inspired ideas, and believe it or not, a lot of laughs. Ask a council member what their goals are for 2008 and catch their excitement. There’s a lot going on and lots of sharing of ideas and resources among committees/communities.
  
  
• Walter Jankowski has stepped forward to serve as a leader for the developing South Campus site location team. Welcome aboard Walt!
  
  
• Paper recycling update: in January we saved 15.48 cubic yards of landfill space, and made $74.29 for the church through our paper recycling program.
  
  
• Little Saints Christian Preschool continues to grow and touch lives as well as All Saints being touched by them. Here’s just a few highlights: **On one snowy morning, a Preschool parent was found cheerfully clearing a path, making All Saints a welcoming place for all until the landscape crew could arrive. **In February, as part of a curriculum day, the parent of a preschooler who is a dentist came to visit and educate the kids on good dental hygiene and what happens at a dental visit. When it was time for one of the kids to then visit the dentist, her mother shared that she went without apprehension. When she was praised by the staff for her attitude and told she was a real champion, the little girl responded, “I am not the champion, Jesus is the champion”. Her mother shared this and notes, “I am so blessed that my daughter is having such a positive experience here and that this is really what she is learning”. See the Preschool section for more.
