Youth Ministries

College Care Packages

It is time for COLLEGE CARE PACKAGES again. We have 46 students in higher education from All Saints. We have a sign up board in the Narthex with suggestions for you to donate. We will be collecting items until February 10. Mailings will go out on February 16. Boxes in the Narthex will be labeled for College. If you prefer to donate money, there will be a jar labeled "College" on the welcome table. Checks can be made out to ASLC. We also send Starbucks gift certificates with the package. This is our opportunity to show our kids that we think of them, that we are here for them, and we are proud of their accomplishments! Thank you all so much for your support.

Be Boulder!!

The Boulders is the High School Youth Group here at All Saints. The Boulders is a Youth Group for students enrolled in grades 9-12. Boulders is a dynamic and exciting group that offers a variety of activities for youth who want to have community and fellowship together. The Boulders realizes that having fun in a Christian atmosphere is one of the best ways to spend your days. Boulders meet on Wednesdays from 7:30- 9:00. The Boulders also participates in National Gathering, Michigan Gathering, Summer Camps, Service Projects, Concerts and Bass Lake Festival. All are welcome at all events!

We have a lot going on in the coming months and we want to let everyone know! Please note that the BOULDERS has MOVED to WEDNESDAY nights now. DURING LENT we will meet from 6:00-7:30 to accommodate Lent Services.

February:
We plan on going sledding (weather permitting) and rock climbing this month. Please keep an eye out in the Herald and your email for information on dates and times for these events.

March:
This is when our BIG event occurs. We will be running the EASTER BREAKFAST and EASTER EGG HUNT. Both of these events will happen between the 8:30 and 11:00 services on March 23rd, 2008. We will be serving pancakes and breakfast casserole. The kids will start cooking around 9:00 so please mark the event on your calendar.

We need as much participation as possible! We need your help in the following ways:

  • people to bring in breakfast casseroles
  • people to bring in griddles to cook pancakes
  • people to help clean-up after 11:00 service

Please contact Tia Butler at 517-540-0769 or email mlcgirl@gmail.com if you can help in any way.
