South Lyon Power & Light News

Millicent

Greetings! Since an animal has handled the Power and Light reporting up ‘til now, it is only natural that this should be continued. I am Millicent. I am one of a long line of Great Pyrenees owned by the Mullers. The Big Guy (as I call him) is now the stated supply at South Lyon Power and Light.

Although born in Massachusetts, he hails from the Metropolitan New York area.  He has many interesting stories that feature humans like Alec Baldwin, Neil Diamond, Jerry Seinfeld --- but no more dropping names.

He graduated from Capital University with a degree in History, Political Science, Literature and Education.  It was there he met his wife, Jennifer.  The Big Guy is retired after 30 years of pastoring.  They are members of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Brighton, where he is on the property committee and Jennifer serves on the vestry and sings in the choir.  She is also training to be a trainer for the Diocese in their Safeguarding series (Safeguarding God’s Children and Safeguarding God’s People – on maintaining appropriate relationship boundaries in ministry).  This fits in well with her background as a Child and Family therapist.  She works in the administration of Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority. They have 3 sons; Carl, who lives in Colorado and is a chef, Kevin, who lives with us and is currently attending Mott Community College to be a nuclear medicine technologist, and Eric, who lives in Ohio and works for Barnes and Noble.

The Big Guy is a member of the Company of Military Historians, the Steamboat Historical Society, the Military Miniature Society of Illinois, the Artists Preservation Guild, and the Wodehouse Society.  He enjoys gardening, making drawings of ships, reading, making military miniatures, Civil War history, collecting Victorian military uniforms and ocean liner silver and china, and has led battlefield tours and spirituality workshops – as you can see, he has many interests and keeps plenty busy!  Now that I have introduced you to Pastor Muller, I leave you to resume my study of dogma (a little canine religious humor).

Epiphany blessing to you,

Millicent
