Hello from the Purple Room!
The children are busy and into the excitement of being back at school after a long break.
We are learning about winter and the beauty of snow, which God created for us all. Come take a look at all the great winter projects we have made in the purple room. We are also learning about dinosaurs and how they roamed the earth a long time ago. We made many projects with dinosaurs, and the children loved it. Please come take a peek and see what we are doing this winter, we would love to see you!

News from the Green Room – 3 Day Class
Happy New Year, church family!  The new year brings new topics and ideas to share with the children.  We started out the month of January learning about the dinosaurs that walked the earth so long ago.  This is a favorite topic for preschoolers and preschool teachers.  The children learned new words like fossils and paleontologists and had the opportunity to express their creativity by molding dinosaurs out of playdough and then painting them cool colors.  Later this month we will talk about the season we are experiencing at the moment.  A fun activity we have planned is to bring some snow into the classroom sensory table and have the kids mold snow castles while wearing mittens.  We will also learn that just like snowflakes, God made us all unique.

News from the Red Room    
The children in the Red Room have been busy this month talking about Winter, Dinosaurs and our Five Senses.  It was fun watching the children make dinosaurs with homemade clay, they were very creative.  In the first part of January, the children had fun surprising Pastor Mary with a card and cake to celebrate her Birthday.  We appreciate our time with Pastor Mary and look forward to seeing her every week.  The children are also busy learning their letters, shapes, colors and learning to count daily.
We hope that everyone will have a lots of happiness, peace and good health in the New Year.
