January Council Minutes

Minutes from the January Council Meeting: January 14, 2010  

Pastor Mary opened the meeting with a devotion and prayer.

Rick Mann moved to approve the November 2009 council minutes; Dave Geen seconded, motion approved.   Please note, there was no December 2009 Council meeting. 

TREASURER’S REPORT: Mim Zurn presented the treasurer’s report.  Mim reported that the December report needs to be revised.

BUDGET:  Dave Geen moved to approve the budget that was prepared and presented.  Rick Mann seconded the motion.  Motion approved; Budget Meeting is scheduled for January 31, following the 11 am service. 

MCL CHAIR:   Kathleen Waligura moved that if a staff member is willing to take the position of MCL chair, that we allow that person to serve in that capacity; Heidi Mills seconded the motion.  Following discussion, the motion passed. 

PROPERTY COMMITTEE:  Rick Mann stated that he would like to have another rummage sale this year to raise funds for repairs for the coming year.  Pastor Mary moved that we allow the Property Committee to hold a rummage sale; Jo Ellyn Bernardin seconded.  Motion carried. 

Rick Mann moved to adjourn, Louise Holtz seconded.  Motion carried.
