Thank You

On behalf of the family of Martha Sherby Tuttle, I would like to thank you for all your concerns, prayers, and cards during my mother’s illness.  Saying good-bye is never easy but knowing that others are praying for healing, strength, and a peaceful passing has made God’s plan for Martha a comforting journey.  My mother always said that “God is in Control”.  What an awesome way to live and die in Christ.

A Death Seminar :  Supporting & Understanding the Grieving Process
St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital and North Oakland Medical Center would like to invite you to a Bereavement/Grief Conference on January 11, 2008 at North Oakland Medical Center.  The conference is designed to help both those who are dealing with loss and those that provide support to them.  Topics included in the seminar are:  How people die in America; exploring personal awareness of loss and grief; identifying components of normal and complicated grief; and how to meet the needs of the family.  Experts will be present to discuss adult, child and neonatal loss.  Also there will be time devoted to questions and answers.  A continental breakfast and lunch are included.  If you have any questions, please call or email Barb Stephen, Supportive Care Coordinator, (248) 858-3399, Stephbar@trinity-health.org or Anne Byrne 248-857-7129, abyrne@nomc.org.  The cost for this Seminar is $25.00
