Greetings from the Purple Room!
What an exciting month in December we had! Filled with fun Christmas projects, decorating Gingerbread house and ending it with a Polar Express Themed Christmas Party!  What fun! The children are all excited Santa came to visit them and they got a chance to tell them what they hoped for under the tree this year. The Christmas Program was wonderful; as our class sang, Jingle bells and The Little Drummer boy made with their own drums!  Have a wonderful Christmas everyone see you in 2010!

News from the Green Room – 3 Day Class
Merry Christmas! Felize Navidad! M   C!  The children in the 3 day green room are busy preparing for the birth of Jesus.  If you are wondering about what the words and letters following Merry Christmas above mean; Felize Navidad means Merry Christmas in Spanish and we have also learned to sign Merry Christmas in sign language.  We have been learning about Christmas giving by making our families special gifts, wrapping paper, and Christmas cards.  Along with learning about advent, we were recently thrilled by a visit from Santa Claus himself.  The children have been working hard are very excited to perform for their families during our Christmas pageant.

News from the Red Room    
The Red Room wishes everyone at All Saints Church a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  We have enjoyed the month of December and all the holiday projects that we have been busy making.  The highlight in December was learning about the true meaning of Christmas.  We also had fun reading and acting out the story of, "The Polar Express".  Pastor Mary taught the children some wonderful Christmas songs and we loved spending time with her in Chapel.   We are looking forward to our Christmas party on Thursday, December 17th and are grateful to the parents who are planning it.  We hope that your holidays are safe and joyous.  We look forward to getting back together in January.
